If you’ve hung around Gordon long enough, you’re probably familiar with the brief tale of our history: Gordon College was founded in 1889 by a Scotsman named A. J. Gordon, born April 19, 1836.
A former art teacher from Chicago, Klamesha Richards discovered a knack for serving college students while pursuing her master’s in intercultural studies. Now she’s the Fulton Hall resident director and champion for diversity on campus.
Professor of Biology Greg Keller was recently awarded a Fulbright Scholarship for the Arctic Initiative, where he will focus on the habitat use, breeding behavior and parasite load of birds in woodland patches.
“I believe my Christian faith is fully compatible with science,” he concluded. “It has enriched my career and made me a better scientist. Like many historical figures, I think science leads to God.”
