Gordon College honored the Class of 2024, conferring degrees on 292 undergraduate students and 119 graduate students, including the inaugural graduate cohort for the Master of Public Health.
Gordon students can now be certified by the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI) and the American Marketing Association (AMA)—the two largest resource organizations for marketers and accreditations in the marketing world––thanks to a partnership Greg Smith, professor of business and marketing, has made with both institutions.
Gordon offers a variety of resources and commuter student programs for those who live off campus, encouraging them to get plugged in and learn to thrive as essential members of the community. Two current commuter students at Gordon share about their college experience.
On April 27 a team of Gordon students hosted and competed in the National Student Advertising Competition for the New England district, placing third for a second year in a row, led by Professor Greg Smith and project manager Gabby Bergstrom ’24.
Oleksiy Svitelskiy secured his fourth NSF grant of 400k, the largest NSF grant Gordon has ever received. The grant is a continuation of a collaboration with the Ekinci Group at Boston University (BU), an R1 institution. Dr. Kristen Siaw will be his co-primary investigator on the grant.
