Famous writer Andre Dubus III, author of soon-to-be 10 books—one of which was adapted into a movie—and a professor of English at the University of Massachusetts Lowell visited Gordon’s campus on February 27 as part of this year’s Princemere Writers Series.

Gordon’s School of Business equips future business professionals and leaders to effect positive social change through business.

The Adams School, led by Dr. Sarita Kwok, brings together the best of Gordon’s creative and performing arts programs into a distinct, collaborative entity.

In these situations justice is about looking at people as real people and not as moral failures.” As leader of Amirah, a Beverly, MA-based nonprofit that provides exit and aftercare opportunities to women in the commercial sex trade, Dr. Mary Speta, ‘14 serves more than 100 sex trafficking survivors each year.

“Let’s be honest: Our conception and practices of faith formation belong to a different era that for many are not translating into a vibrant faith experience for younger generations. But there is more to the story. Rising generations are finding and expressing faith differently.”
