Gordon College Named Among Princeton Review’s “Best Colleges” for 10th Year
Gordon College is one of the nation’s best institutions for undergraduates according to The Princeton Review, which profiles and recommends Gordon in the new edition of its annual college guide, The Best 389 Colleges: 2024 Edition. This is the 10th consecutive edition to include Gordon College.
Only about 15% of America’s 2,600 four-year colleges are profiled in the book. The Princeton Review—a leading tutoring, test prep and college admissions services company—chose colleges for the book based on data it annually collects from surveys of 2,000 college administrators about their institutions’ academic offerings. The company also reviews data from its surveys of college students attending the schools who report on their experiences at their institutions.
“We salute Gordon College for its outstanding academics and its many other impressive offerings. We’re delighted to recommend it as an ideal choice for students searching for their ‘best-fit’ college,” said Rob Franek, The Princeton Review’s editor-in-chief and lead author of The Best 389 Colleges.
In the profile on Gordon, The Princeton Review editors comment, “Gordon College seeks applicants who display an intellectual curiosity and excitement for learning. You’ll need solid grades and a strong college-prep curriculum to be a contender. Successful students also demonstrate commitment to Christian values.”
Gordon students surveyed by The Princeton Review indicated that professors and peers “care about how you are doing socially, academically and spiritually” and “when people leave here, they are prepared to get a job and do well.”
