Gordon College Wins Salesforce Education Summit Award
Last week at the 2023 Salesforce Education Summit in Dallas, Texas, Gordon College was one of seven institutions across the country recognized for innovation. Sharing the spotlight with schools like Pennsylvania State University and the University of Colorado, Gordon received an award for “Excellence in Advancement and Alumni Relations.”
Institutions were nominated for each award, and then voted into the winning seat. Gordon beat out Texas A&M for “Excellence in Advancement and Alumni Relations.”
In 2016, Gordon’s Advancement Services Team implemented Salesforce in preparation for the Faith Rising comprehensive campaign, and has been adopting new functionalities to better manage relationships with alumni and donors since. In 2022, the team received an ROI Award from Nucleus Research for achieving a 294% ROI on Salesforce implementation.
“Salesforce has allowed us to grow and innovate year over year and ultimately, engage our donors and alumni in a more personal and effective way,” said Gordon’s Vice President for Advancement Britt Carlson Eaton ’03. “This award is the result of hard work and creativity from members of our Advancement team. I am incredibly proud of and grateful for their contributions.”
