Human Rights Week to Focus on American Prison System
Gordon’s student-led Social Justice Initiative (SJI) will welcome keynote speaker Dr. Soong-Chan Rah, Milton B. Engebretson Professor of Church Growth and Evangelism at North Park Theological Seminary, for Human Rights Week, March 21–24. Guided by Ephesians 6:12—“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms”—the week will focus on injustices in the American prison system.
