Stay Connected This Summer
Temperatures are rising and the local beaches are starting to fill up. But for Gordon students and faculty, summer is anything but a typical break. They’re traveling the world for missions, going on wilderness expeditions, taking advantage of summer term options, starting competitive internships, homing in on research projects, and taking (or teaching) classes overseas. Don’t miss a beat—follow Gordon’s social media accounts to stay connected with all the summer happenings.
Keep yourself up-to-date on Instagram for photos from campus and the surrounding North Shore. The Gordon College Instagram often features talented student photographers and utilizes the hashtag #GordonMoments to spread images of students’ summer activities around the world. Make sure to follow the Admissions, Athletics and Music departments as they host events and gear up for a new semester—and don’t miss snapshots from La Vida’s wild wilderness adventures.
Your standard Gordon College account will update you with general information, and about summer missions programs and service-learning projects, as well as the academic accomplishments of faculty and students alike. If you’re a prospective student, follow our Gordon Admissions account to learn more about us as you get ready to visit and apply. You’re an alum?—we’ve got a Twitter account for you. Coming to you live from basecamp in the Adirondack Mountains of New York, the Gordon La Vida account is the best way to get updates on our summer expeditions. Keep an eye on the Gordon Elevate account to learn about the annual high school leadership lab, or keep tabs on the President’s Office and College administrators, who post frequently about the work they’re doing and the places they’re going.
The Gordon College Facebook page is the best place to find photographs and news about the College year-round. Find photos chronicling the recent Commencement ceremony, sharing student and faculty accomplishments, and keeping you in the loop about upcoming events. Stay connected to La Vida’s adventures, Elevate’s leadership training, and Gordon Athletics happenings.
