MSFA Director Shares Money Expertise with Condé Nast Traveler

Alexander Lowry, executive director of Gordon’s Master of Science in Financial Analysis, recently shared his two cents on the most widely circulated currencies in a video for Condé Nast Traveler. Lowry discusses the history, design and security features of the U.S. dollar, Great British pound, Euro, Japanese yen, Canadian dollar, Chinese yuan, Mexican peso, Australian dollar, Swiss franc and Swedish krona in “Money Expert Decodes the World’s Most Popular Currencies,” which also includes a bonus section showcasing currencies from India, Jamaica, Tanzania, Oman, New Zealand and Hungary. “When it’s just sitting in our wallet,” he says, “we don’t think about all that went into it to make it secure and to make it attractive and durable and cheap.” Condé Nast Traveler is one of the many brands of mass media company Condé Nast, which also includes The New Yorker, Vogue, GQ and Epicurious.
