Gordon College’s Bod Pod: Dr. Yi Sun on the Latest Technology in Body Composition  

Gordon College has acquired a piece of equipment called the “Bod Pod” that uses air-displacement plethysmography to accurately determine a person’s body composition, which Dr. Yi Sun regularly uses in her classes and in her research.

Gordon Secures Digital Marketing Certification Partnerships from DMI and AMA 

Gordon students can now be certified by the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI) and the American Marketing Association (AMA)—the two largest resource organizations for marketers and accreditations in the marketing world––thanks to a partnership Greg Smith, professor of business and marketing, has made with both institutions. 

Gordon History Made: Dr. Oleksiy Svitelskiy Receives $400K in Fourth NSF Grant Milestone

Oleksiy Svitelskiy secured his fourth NSF grant of 400k, the largest NSF grant Gordon has ever received. The grant is a continuation of a collaboration with the Ekinci Group at Boston University (BU), an R1 institution. Dr. Kristen Siaw will be his co-primary investigator on the grant.

Gordon Places for Second Year in a Row at International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition 

For the second year in a row, a team from Gordon’s Business Club competed at the International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition (ICBSC) and had stellar results, winning awards for “Best Overall Performance” and “Best Documents in Their World.”

Student-Led Innovation: Symposium Showcases Diversity of Thought and Learning at Gordon 

For Symposium 2024, students led and participated in debates, lectures, discussions and even hands-on activities with their peers and campus community to discuss the theme of “The One and the Many.”
