The fall semester is well underway, which means student life is getting busy. The Bell rounded up the best ways to get involved with Gordon Athletics, Homecoming, arts, guest speakers and even Christmas.
Despite most students being away, Gordon is no ghost town over the summer—40 different organizations and groups from all over the country and world enjoy the picturesque surroundings make use of the campus’s otherwise vacant facilities.
A forest oasis in Essex, MA, is Gordon’s new Club Rowing center, thanks to the financial support of an anonymous donor. Officially purchased by the College in the fall of 2018, the 7.51-acre property was once home to Camp Menorah.
For Gordon College, 2017 was a year highlighted by steady growth in key areas and several important new initiatives designed to strengthen the College for the future.
