Faith Rising catalyzed significant updates to core student spaces including Lane Student Center, Jenks Library, Bennett Athletic Center, Brigham Athletic Complex and the La Vida Center for Outdoor Education and Leadership.
Faith Rising enabled vital enhancements to the College’s academic model: shorter completion times, concurrent education and expanded digital opportunities, all while retaining Gordon’s commitment to the core values of a Christian liberal arts education.
Through the Faith Rising campaign, Gordon dramatically decreased tuition costs to families and increased the volume of merit- and need-based scholarships for students.
It was a celebratory sprint on Gordon’s campus last week. The College honored President Michael Lindsay for his 10 years of service, installed two endowed chair positions, cheered for the Classes of 2020 and 2021 in two Commencement ceremonies, and announced the completion of the Faith Rising campaign.
Last week, Dr. Daniel Darko was installed as the first Wilson-Ockenga Endowed Professor of Biblical and Theological Studies—one of four endowed positions made possible by the Faith Rising campaign.
