Gordon College Recognized Among Nation’s Top for Academic Selectivity of Teacher Preparation Program
The School of Education adds to its many accolades from the National Council on Teacher Quality in being one of only nine programs in Massachusetts to earn the highest distinction for selective admissions requirements.

In mid-November, the American Chemical Society (ACS) gave Gordon’s ACS student chapter an “outstanding” designation for the second year in a row, and a Green Chapter Award for the seventh year in a row. The awards recognize the chapter’s extensive educational outreach on the North Shore of Boston and in New York City.
Irv Levy, professor of chemistry and computer science and chair of the Department of Chemistry at Gordon College, has been named to the 2017 Class of American Chemical Society Fellows for his significant contributions.
Gordon College is one of the most environmentally responsible colleges according to The Princeton Review, which featured Gordon in its newly released 2015 Guide to 353 Green Colleges.
